Nelson's Family Portrait

A family portrait commission by the woman on the lower left as a Christmas present to her Father. Her brother recently passed and I am sure that a family photographic portrait like this does not exist so I am sure he will be brought to tears.

Have a happy and safe New Year!

In Memory of Nelson Gallagher

These many portraits of Nelson was done as a Christmas present from Larry, owner of Bad Beat Poker, to his wife (and sister of Nelson) for Christmas. I had little time to complete this, so I had to shoot a photo of it instead of my normal scan, thus the darkness. It is on white 11x14 inch paper. It took about 4 hours.

Merry Late Christmas!

Well I hope Everyone had a good Christmas! I know I did. I drew my Sister in law for the secret santa, so she got a portrait of herself and her kids. She cried =) haha, its such a good feeling

And my mother in law got one too, just because =) She was so happy. All in all it was a good Christmas despite everyone's lack of money. Hopefully financial situations will be better next year. I hope everyone has a good new year!

Smaller family portrait

This is another commission done for the same person mentioned below. This is her with her boyfriend and son. The boy came from a separate picture, so I had to add him in.

Family Portrait

This is a commission done for a co-worker of mine as a Christmas gift to her brother. The hardest part about this was the fact that each person was basically from a different photo. 8x10 on 11x14.

So I have been part of this organization called Soldier Portraits for quite awhile.

Browse each artist's website and contact the artist you would like to create the memorial portrait. This is a non-political group. We are artists who would just like to provide a meaningful portrait to grieving families."

Well just recently I was contacted by a coworker of the mother of a fallen soldier. She wanted me to do a portrait of the woman's son in time for Christmas. The soldier's name is Micheal Phillips, and after reading about him I knew I had to do it. Such a great guy and such a sad story.

I feel truly honored to have done this portrait. I couldn't believe that this guy was only 19 when he died. Please read about him here: http://www.militarycity.com/valor/3394729.html

Two new Portraits

Hand drawn portraits make such a great gift that I myself give them to family members =)

Both are approximately 8x10 done on 11x14 quality paper in graphite pencil, they took about 3 hours each.

The first, is for my Sister-in-law. It is herself and her two kids. She got lucky and I pulled her name for the Secret Santa this year, haha.

The second is a portrait of my Fiance and his family. It will be his Mom's Christmas present. If you would like a portrait done then just send me a message and I will see what we can do =)

Sarahs Bridal Portrait and other updates

Well my new and improved website is up, www.cscottdraw.com and I encourage everyone to check it out! I have my portrait, fantasy, tattoo, and graphic works on display. I have also developed a storefront, so check that out as well.

I will be meeting with my fantastic writer, NMS, today to go over our fairy line. Soon we will have fairy cards and necklaces (with more products to come) in local sores - yay!

To the left is the Faerie Flora, she is one of 8 designs that are featured.

Flora, The Faerie of Spring. Named appropriately for her work, she is the faerie of spring. When weather becomes warmer and plants revive and new life grows, we have her to thank. As the Spring time months progress, as does her strength...here she sits, just waking from her winter's sleep, tired and listless, because this tree's buds have not yet started to bloom and her job has just begun.

I have just finished Sarah's bridal portrait, check it out! Once I frame it Aurora Bridal will hang it in their shop and put my business cards on display.
